As a result of reductions in library staff hours, it will now take at least two weeks for course reserve content to be added by library staff to your course reserve and exam pages.
The good news: You can avoid any delay in uploading files and web links to your course lists by adding and managing your own course materials and pages. [Note: this excludes book requests which must be handled by library staff]. You can even scan documents using the “scan” capability of your program office KM copier. Once scanned, the library’s electronic reserve collection software allows you to upload the files to the electronic reserve collection from home or office.
To help you do-it-yourself. . .
- The library has updated its reserve guide [http://library.gc.cuny.edu/help/reserves-guide/] to include use of the KM equipment scanning capability.
- Weekly workshops on managing your course reserves have also been scheduled during January and February [see the workshop schedule beginning January 11th at http://webapps.gc.cuny.edu/workshops/library/calendar.upcoming.sessions.cfm.
- You may also contact Curtis Matthew (firstname.lastname@example.org ) or Julie Cunningham(Jcunningham@gc.cuny.edu ) for individual assistance.
