Day-long workshops in using Geographical Information Systems using open-source software are being conducted at Baruch on March 4, April 1, and May 6. Each workshop lasts from 9 am until 4:30 pm. In addition to Baruch students, faculty, and staff, the workshops, each limited to twenty participants, are open to all CUNY graduate students, faculty, and staff. Registration is $30 and includes a comprehensive tutorial booklet and a light breakfast. The workshops will be conducted by Frank Donnelly, Baruch’s geospatial data librarian.
