GC students and faculty now have the opportunity to borrow books through a newly launched pilot program established by NYPL Research Libraries, and Columbia and NYU libraries. MaRLI (Manhattan Research Libraries Initiative) allows you to borrow books within certain parameters established by the libraries. The program runs through June 2012.
At NYPL Research Libraries, many books that were non-circulating may now be borrowed under this program.
You can establish eligibility for the program in this way:
- If you do not already have an NYPL library card, apply for one: http://www.nypl.org/help/library-card
- Consult with a research librarian at NYPL and complete the online application for MaRLI membership as directed. (Call the library – the consultation may be waived.)
For further information, see the NYPL/MaRLI page.
