NYPL research libraries have improved the delivery service for books and journals stored offsite at the RECAP facility. NYPL offsite staff will now scan a journal article, a book chapter, or up to 50 cited pages of a book (whichever is shorter) and either deliver it free via email or post it online for you. the article and chapter scan and delivery service is also offered through the Graduate Center’s Interlibrary Loan service.
90% of the books requested on weekdays are delivered to the NYPL Main Library within 24 hours. Saturday delivery service has been added for books requested online before 2.30 Friday afternoon. Use the classic catalog to find built-in online request forms for offsite items. Request up to 15 items per day!
