Upcoming 18th-Century Reading Room Events

The 18ht-Century Reading Room will be hosting two informal talks in October as part of our Guest Speaker Series. The talks begin at 2:00 PM in the 18th-Century Reading Room, in room C196.05 on the Concourse level of the Mina Rees Library.

  • Friday, October 20, 2006 — David Kazanjian (UPenn) — “‘When they come here they feal So free:’ Liberia and the Equivocal Freedom of Return.”
  • Friday, October 27, 2006 — Inna Gorbatov (LIU) — “Voltaire’s Library in Russia.”
