The following ProQuest databases will be unavailable from 10 pm, Saturday, July 30, until noon, Sunday, July 31: Digital Dissertations, Ethnic NewsWatch, LLBA, New York Times Full Text, PAIS, Social Services Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts, and Worldwide Political Science Abstracts. New Reference Desk Location

Journal Title Search Temporarily Unavailable

The vendor of our journal title search tool,Serials Solutions,has notified us informed that the journal title search will not be available starting Friday,July 15 from 9:00 pm to Saturday,July 16 at 12:00 am.

The library staff is sorry for any inconvenience that this downtime may cause you.

Library Toolbar Updated for Firexfox 5

The popular library toolbar that allows OpenURL resolution (Findit!) from some citation based resources to full-text ones,in addition to an array of popular shortcuts to pages on the library website and the ability to search CUNY+,Journal Titles and WorldCat has been rebuilt for FireFox 5. You can install/download here.

 

Send Scans automatically to Google Docs

The Bookscanner which previously provided the options to save a scan to USB drive or send to an email account,now has a simple to use option to automatically send to Google Docs.
