In preparation for retirement of Docutek, the library’s legacy ERes system, the library reminds current and former Grad Center instructors to download and backup all archived ERes documents by June 30th. Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

In observance of the Thanksgiving Day Holiday, the library will be closed Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th, but will be open on Saturday, the 26th and Sunday the 27th.

New Oxford Bibliographies

Oxford Bibliographies Online has added bibliographies in Cinema and Media Studies, Islamic Studies, Latin American Studies, Linguistics, Music, and Sociology. Each subject includes bibliographies in approximately fifty more specific categories. God news! Bookscanner service is restored. The vendor has replaced the touchscreen with an updated unit.

Library Toolbar Updated

The library toolbar which allows for easy searching and automatic generation of Find it! buttons, when source pages are OpenURL enabled, has been updated for Firefox 8. Read about it and get it here.

Spring 2012 Library Reserves to Blackboard

The Graduate Center Library will discontinue use of ERes software and cease library scanning/uploading services for spring 2012 courses. Exam reading lists will be available on ERes through February 2012.
