As of August 20, the New York Public Library suspended applications for NEW MaRLI applications from CUNY grad students and faculty. Current MaRLI pilot program borrowers (using NYPL, NYU, or Columbia library materials) will retain all borrowing privileges at least through September 30, 2012. The Graduate Center has a trial through October 13 to Silent Film Online, offering 251 titles, including Battleship Potemkin, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, The General, Intolerance, Metropolis, and Nosferatu.
As of August 6 the library’s collection of print and microform periodicals can be searched at the same time as the library’s electronic journal titles. When you use the Journals tab on the library’s site, the Search E-Journal Titles option will find both electronic and print results.
