Use this form to request to have materials (both those owned and not yet owned by the library) placed on course reserve in the library. There is a limit of 50 reserve items per course (submit this form as many times as necessary).
- If an item is already owned by the library, please include its call number. If possible, please also include the item’s permanent URL (find out how to obtain a permanent URL in the CUNY catalog).
- If an item is not owned by the library, please include a link to the item on Amazon or another website. Note that it generally takes 4-6 weeks for an item to be purchased, processed, and placed on reserve.
Note about E-Reserves: Use Blackboard for electronic reserves. (The Graduate Center library no longer uses ERes.) The library does not scan and upload files; instructors are responsible for providing links to books, articles, and documents to students. For assistance, see our Reserves guide.
Other Requests: Faculty, staff, and students who want to request materials for the general library collection (i.e., not for reserves) should fill out the general book request form or contact their subject librarian.
