BIOSIS Citation Index indexes life sciences and biomedical research covering pre-clinical and experimental research, methods and instrumentation, animal studies, and more. Indexes journals, books, meetings, and patents from 1926 to present.

Use the database’s advanced search function to search by author, article titles, or journal or by year. The Graduate Center has a trial through October 31 to Springer Materials. Also known as the Landolt Bornstein Database, this resource for physical and chemical data in materials science covers over 250,000 substance and materials systems and over 3,000 properties. It includes moe than 1.2 million literature citations.
The Graduate Center has a trial through June 10 to the 90th edition of Handbook of Chemistry and Physics Online. Searching by chemical structure requires downloading a Java applet.
As of March 8, the Graduate Center subscribes to WebCSD. The Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) includes bibliographic, chemical, and crystallographic information for organic molecules and metal-organic compounds.
