Reserve Collections

The purpose of a reserve collection is to facilitate access to library materials in support of teaching, learning, and research.

Faculty may submit materials for reserve that conform to the fair use provisions of the Copyright Act. The Copyright Guidelines for CUNY Libraries describe the policies followed by the Mina Rees Library for reserve materials:

General Procedures

Materials that do not require copyright clearance

Materials that sometimes require copyright clearance

Materials that always require copyright clearance
