Editing or Removing a Citation

Deleting a citation from a Word document will remove the citation and footnote.

  1. Click on the formatted Citation
  2. Choose Edit citation(s) from the toolbar or menu
  3. Highlight the citation(s) you wish to alter
  4. Choose editing options to omit or modify a field

    5. OR

  5. Click the remove button to delete a citation.
