Newspaper engravings found on page 1012 of Harper's Weekly dated November 15, 1873. Found on this page are two illustrations, the upper one depicting a scene on the flour docks on Coenties Slip, New York. The bottom illustration shows grain being transferred from a canal boat to a ship. Both illustrations together canal-related commerce in NYC during the 1870's.
