Description
An advertisement that appeared in New-York American. May 18, 1822. This advertisement solicited passengers for packet boat travel along the most pleasant part of the Erie Canal from Little Falls to Utica. Return passage was also available. Packet boats received mail from the Mail Stages and transported the mail packets, along with passengers up and down the canal.
