Madison Avenue entrance to the Morgan Library. Built in 2006. Architect: Renzo Piano. The entrance was added as part of an expansion project which integrated the three existing buildings on the Morgan's campus and added additional exhibition space.

Renzo Piano's design brings together three existing buildings: 1.) The original library building built 1903-1906 ; Architect: Charles McKim of McKim, Meade & White; 2.) The Annex added 1928 on the site of J.P. Morgan's former residence ; Architect: Benjamin W. Morris; 3.) The J. P. Morgan, Jr. House, built in 1852 and later owned by the Lutheran Church in America. It was acquired by the Pierpont Morgan Library in 1988.

Built 1859-1860 by granite dealer Thomas Crane and stone cutter Alexander McDonald. The two men developed plans for Nos. 129-137 E. 35th Street and then transferred titles to investors during the building process. This second phase of development in Murray Hill's historic district reflected the wealth of middle class families in the years before the Civil War. Much of the original rich architectural detail survives, including the stoop and railings, the surround and hood over the main entryway, and the building's cornice.

Built in 1854 but considerably altered from original design. Owners removed the stoops in favor of basement entrances and changed the top floors and rooflines so that they are no longer uniform. No. 126 was altered in 1941 by architect Stephen L. Heinrich who converted it from a single to multiple-family dwelling. No. 128 was converted to a multiple-family dwelling in 1934 by architect Harry M. Clawson.
