Murray Hill Walking Tour
This tour, which begins at New York Public Library and ends at the Empire State Building, introduces visitors to 22 of the Murray Hill neighborhood’s landmarked buildings. Each stop along the way includes a concise history of the building’s architecture. Many of the sites are illustrated with color photographs by Peter Waldvogel.
Historic Murray Hill: Walking tour and architectural guide to landmarks
The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association originally created this pamphlet-sized guide in 1976. This revised edition of the tour, published in 1998, accompanies visitors past 46 of the neighborhood’s architectural highlights. The guide is illustrated with drawings by Dean Avery.
